Site Workwear, PPE and Hygiene consumables experts make Swindon their new home

Stronghold Global’s commitment to service, quality, and innovation strengthened by move down the M4 corridor.

Leading site workwear, PPE, and site consumables supplier, Stronghold Global, has moved back to Swindon to form a new Headquarters in the Wiltshire town. Until recently Stronghold Global’s head office was based 25 miles away in Chippenham but is now located on the same site as its distribution centre, at the Britannia Trade Park in Upper Stratton, just off the M4.

Over the recent years, Stronghold Global has emerged as a leader in its field. The need for bigger premises, which can comfortably accommodate an expanding workforce in an environmentally friendly space, has arisen from a growing demand for its services.

In March, the company announced a new distribution partnership with leading British facilities management and professional services company, Mitie, and has played a prominent role in helping the NHS in its battle against coronavirus.

Since April 2020, Stronghold Global has supported 250,000 key workers through the provision of the highest quality PPE to NHS Trusts and Testing Centre’s throughout the U.K, with well over 50 million units dispatched overall.

The move to Upper Stratton marks a return to Swindon, with the company having spent six years there previously.

By combining locations, Stronghold Global is confident that customers with benefit from improved customer service, efficiency of ordering, and speed of delivery.

Stronghold Global is keen to develop further partnerships within the Swindon community and beyond as it looks to ensure the wellbeing and safety of employees within the industrial, commercial, and public sectors, whilst also working hard on providing greener solutions for its customers.

Max Turner CEO said: “It is excellent to be back in Swindon, the recent re-location has enabled our team to better serve the valued local trade. Being strategically placed on the M4 corridor has the added benefit of assisting us to deliver effectively to our national and international clients.

With Swindon being a major technology hub and having a reputation for one of the UK’s main centres of innovation, this sits very well with our company strategy where service, quality, and innovation are three of our key drivers. If you’re based in Swindon or the surrounding area and are looking to reduce costs, improve efficiencies and reduce your carbon footprint then be sure to pay us a visit.”
