Employers Must: Assess health risks to employees and others working on the premises; Initiate procedure to control and monitor unavoidable exposure to substances which may harm the health of employees and others on the premises; Provide information and training relevant to the hazards associated within each area of working to ensure that all personnel are aware of the risks involved and preventive measures taken to control them.
Employees Must: Make full and proper use of any control measure, personal protective equipment (PPE) or other facility provided; Report any defects found in the control measures, PPE or facilities provided; Follow the instructions provided within data sheets or other safety information and only use the dispose of substances in the recommended manner.
